Sweet Iron Cheyenne Moon AMHA #140906
(Francis Tito x Triton Pastime)
15.2 H Liver chestnut
Linebred Sellman/Hill /Hearst
Stud fee $750
Cheyenne
is a great great grandson of Hearst’s foundation sire Mountcrest
Sellman and one of the few living descendants of this wonderful
California Morgan dynasty.
Cheyenne is the cornerstone of Antigua Morgans’ sport Morgan
breeding program. His foals are consistently large, athletic, and
elegant movers. They are good natured and people-oriented.
His
full sister Sophie Francis is a branded “Red Preferred”
American Warmblood, one of the few Morgans to qualify by objective
judging for potential in the Olympic disciplines of dressage, eventing,
or jumping. His son Antigua Amante de Luna was pinned Champion Arizona
bred sport horse by a German judge in open competition against European
Warmblood breeds.
Antigua Corazon de Oro AMHA #148744
Mortana Pat x Angels Breezy Lady
15H Golden palomino
Stud fee $750
If
you’re searchin’ for a Heart of Gold--search no farther!
Corazon de Oro is all Morgan and pure gold. He has heavy bone for
a lifetime of soundness. He has movie star good looks. And he has
the disposition of an angel.
Coro pases on his substance and beauty--and his color too. All of
his foals have been either palomino or buckskin.
Coro’s
sire, Mortana Pat, was a great producer of fine ranch horses and champion
Morgan reining horses. Pat left only four breeding sons. Two of them
are at Antigua Morgans.
Corazon de Oro’s dam, Angels Breezy Lady, contributes old Vermont
and US Government lines--with an interesting detour through the breeding
program of the Indian school on the Pine Ridge Reservation.
Corazon de Oro is true “heritage seed”.
Cream Ridge Jackson AMHA #140225
Mortana Pat x Meri-Go Mistina
15.1H Black bay
Stud fee $750
Want
it all? Jackson is a certified American Warmblood and a “cowy
son of a gun.” Whether you like your horses “broke”
or “baroque,” Jackson fills the bill. Jackson looks great
tacked western or English, and does a reining spin or a pirouette
with equal ease.
Jackson gave a live demonstration of California vaquero tack and training
techniques at the 2005 Morgan National Convention in Phoenix. His
trainer told the audience that “Jackson is one of the nicest
horses of any breed’ he’s ever ridden--remarkable for
his lightness, that rare quality of effortless grace in every movement.
Jackson is the son of the great Mortana Pat, sire of many good ranch
horses and champion Morgan reiners. His dam Meri-Go Mistina added
many crosses to Jubilee King, one of the strongest lines of Morgan
sport horses.
Jackson’s foals inherit his athleticism and willing nature.
They’ve been described as “lightning in a bottle”. |
